May I take a few moments of your time to introduce NewLine Transcription Services to you.

I have been a self-employed business owner of a Medical Transcription Service in the Aliquippa Area servicing local community physicians with their transcription needs since 1992.

As a medical transcriptionist, I acquired ten (10) years of extensive transcription training and experience in the Medical Records Department of Sewickley Valley Hospital from 1977 to 1987.  I then spent 12 years specializing in an OB/GYN practice.  I acquired 10 years experience specializing in breast ultrasound and mammogram reports under the supervision and direction of Ingrid E. Naugle, M.D., of Women’s Imaging Center and Diagnostic Imaging of Sewickley (formerly Health Care For Women).

While obtaining my schooling for Medical Transcription, I served my internship at Rochester Hospital in the Pathology Department where I had the opportunity to observe specimens for dictation as well as actual typing of autopsy reports.

As a transcription service owner, I only employ medical transcriptionists with adequate training and schooling for these duties due to the varied medical terminology and dialects in a multi-specialty service as well as the strict confidentiality guidelines which must be followed.
